Demonstrations As The US Election Finally Announced.

US Elections Announced Amidst Tension

After days of waiting for the final results of the United States elections, the electoral body has finally announced the winner. Initially Joe Biden was declared the President-elect after winning the 20 Pennsylvania's electoral votes. Despite this victory, the elections were not yet as other states such as Georgia and Nevada were still pending for final count.

The United States has called to an end one of its toughest and highly controversial elections in the country's history. Joe Biden is now the official winner after garnering 306 electoral votes with President Donald Trump trailing with an uncomfortable 232 votes. This makes Joe Biden the 46th President of the United States of America pending legal challenge.

Despite the fact that Biden's victory was already assured even before the final declaration by the electoral body, Trump's supporters took to streets in Nevada to demonstrate. Nevada is one of the latest states that has solidified the Democrats' victory.
